All my life I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. I wanted to be a positive influence and help shape the lives of little individuals. Pretty big goal… right? I took one class in college and decided that influencing and shaping kids was not what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing! So I became a designer – still shaping and influencing, but on a totally different level. I’m an artist, but instead of using a paintbrush and canvas, I use a mouse and a monitor to manipulate text and images into my little influential masterpieces. The best part of my job is when the client is completely happy with the design I’ve given them. It’s the best reward I can be given as a designer. As a designer you have that ability, much like an educator, to shape and influence people. A finished piece can truly have an impact on an individual’s thoughts or views.
 

In my spare time I like to "home improve" our house, go shopping, see a movie and hang out with my husband Adam and our two dogs, Murphy and Malley.
