Senior Account Manager to head satellite office in Atlanta, Georgia

AKHIA, a public relations and marketing agency focused on strategic execution, is expanding to Atlanta, Georgia. The 12-year-old company has established a satellite office to be headed by the agency’s consumer specialist, Lindsay Anne Rider, senior account manager.
According to Jan Gusich, AKHIA’s founder and president, this move meets multiple strategic initiatives, specifically the ability to better offer retail insight to existing clients by being centrally located to leading retailers’ headquarters.
“We are always searching for ways to add value to our clients and how they do business. By placing one of our consumer experts in the middle of a media hub as high profile as Atlanta – where we’ll be neighbor to some of the country’s largest DIY retailers – is an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.”
The majority of AKHIA’s consumer clients are in the home care category, further driving the decision to open the Atlanta office. And as the lead strategist on those accounts, Ms. Rider is excited about the opportunities this move holds for both AKHIA and its clients.

Ms. Rider has more than six years of consumer public relations and marketing experience – four with AKHIA – and is responsible for several strategic programs for a wide range of leading brands, including Dirt Devil, Hoover, MTD, Saeco, Darden Restaurants, Inc. and Outback Steakhouse, Inc.
