What I do:
I do what l love every day. I’m one lucky lady.
My self-proclaimed title:
Much of my career, my title has been “Producer.” What does that mean? Just about everything. I produce marketing campaigns, product launches, communications programs, blogger campaigns, experiential marketing initiatives…oh, and a pretty sweet annual Halloween party at Casa Johns.
My AKHIA color is Gray and it fits my style because:
Gray looked lonely. He needed some friends. I like gray.
I get social on:
Mildly obsessed with Instagram. LinkedIn, Facebook, Dubsmash (no joke..it’s the best).
What’s your career AHA! moment?
I’ve had some pretty eye-opening and amazing moments in my career. Truthfully, I hope I haven’t had my AHA moment quite yet. Gives me something more to look forward to. ;)
I personally live AKHIA’s mission statement by:
Working hard for great clients and alongside a great team.
What are clients surprised to learn about you?
In my previous life, I produced product launches in the cosmetic and beauty industries in New York. Yet, I’m not the “girly” girl one bit! But man, I know how to promote a sleek new moisturizer!
What is your greatest strength?
Diversity of experience and adaptability.
What keeps you up at night?
Very little. I enjoy a busy work life, have two energetic little girls, a spirited 70 lb. dog and a busy husband. When it’s bedtime, I’m all-in.
What do you do in your spare time and how does it affect what you do and how you work?
We spend much of our time outdoors (when Ohio complies). Additionally, my husband and I enjoy hiking in the mountains and traveling. We are starting to introduce those hobbies to our girls too. The time outside offers a great balance to a busy life.
What advice would you give the 10 year-old you?
The headgear really isn’t a great look at school. Let’s stick to just a nightly routine on that one, sister.
I wish I knew how to:
Drive stick shift. People who drive stick are kinda tough. I like that.
