Senior Account Executive
What I do:
Handle the day-to-day marketing communications projects for clients.
My self -proclaimed title:
Bag Lady – I just can’t travel light.
My AKHIA color is Blue and it fits my style because:
It’s a calming color to me, and it reminds me to keep my cool under pressure.
I get social on:
Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
What’s your career AHA! moment?
Not sure if there was an exact moment, but there comes a point when you realize you can do this – you have confidence and know you can lead the charge.
I personally live AKHIA’s mission statement by:
Trying to put myself in the clients’ shoes and always being willing/helpful, no matter what the request.
What are clients surprised to find out about you?
That I was an art education major in college. (Considering starting my own Paint-n-Sip business on the side.)
What is your greatest strength?
Organization – whether it’s a team meeting, a new project or the junk drawer in my kitchen, I can whip it into shape.
What keeps you up at night?
Occasionally, a sweet 18-month old little boy. But if he’s sleeping, you better believe I am too!
What do you do in your spare time and how does that affect what you do and how you work?
I enjoy working out and running. It’s taught me self-discipline, that I always need to push myself and that hard work pays off. All of which you can apply to a career.
What advice would you give to the 10-year-old you?
Be yourself and don’t worry so much what other people think of you. In the long run, it’s much easier to just be you.
I wish I knew how to:
Cook delicious Italian food from scratch.
