Seriously. Name a product or industry and she'd appear with articles in minutes - without a computer. She read every newspaper and magazine around, dedicated a room of her small home to serve as a library, and had a file for all eleven of her children and thirty-plus grandchildren. Our files were filled with articles that related to our hobbies, jobs and schools. She read every article herself first, because she wanted to share in our passion, and be a partner in conversation.

Similarly, at Akhia, we read what you read and share in your passion. We aim to be as knowledgeable about your product as you are. We hold our own in conversation and writing. My personal 'clipping service' was a stepping stone to being focused on writing and media relations today. I learned that with the written word, we as readers participate in the process, and are moved to act or feel a certain way. We also read the news and pass it on - the word of mouth machine marketers thrive on.

I value family and the things we learn from those we love. Akhia recognizes and appreciates the importance of being progressive in its field as well as holding onto strong, family values. Though technology will evolve, the ability to touch another human being—through newspaper clippings, ecomm or a press release—will never go out of style.
