For many years, two special people in my life have been telling me that I could do, or be, anything I wanted. I’ve always been extremely inquisitive, and as a young girl my desire to explore, play in the dirt and nurture animals was just the beginning. I grew up on a dairy farm in the midst of the beautiful country landscape of Baltic, Ohio, with many career aspirations.

Due to my intense love for ice cream, I began my career plan with the ambition of one day becoming a Dairy Treat employee (4-year -olds have such high goals). I soon realized that I could probably do better than ice cream cones with candy eyes, and at the age of seven, I thought because I played nearly the best role of ‘mom’ in the game ‘house’ since Wendy in Peter Pan, I would be a housewife, which quickly led to a nurse, followed by a school teacher.

These professions all eventually faded, and I decided I needed to really think big. So actress was next on the list, and not far behind was a professional Women’s National Basketball Association athlete – okay, I went a little too big.

The point is – after a long list of career aspirations, I found my dream job. As a public relations professional, I’m able to put my best foot forward and capitalize on the skills I’ve always been good at. I’m a communicator, writer, strategic and creative thinker, and I offer my clients and colleagues nothing less than 110 percent. I guess deep down I’ve always known what I wanted to be – I just had to find it.
