Account Experience

Everyone has a story to tell, but finding the most relevant way to convey it can be a difficult task. That’s where I come in.

I’ve always loved to tell stories and enjoy having an audience to perform in front of. While this may seem like a trait better suited for theater, I’ve found it’s a useful tool when it comes to public relations, too. Essentially, PR is all about communicating your client’s story to their audiences in a way that’s understandable, enjoyable and memorable.

But story telling is not just about understanding content, it’s about understanding your audience and how they prefer to receive information. Are they into theatrics? Do they want the cut-and-dry version? Or do they like a little comic relief? It’s all about understanding people. And I understand people.

Call it intuition or call it a skill, I can tell when meeting someone how they like to communicate. I know which people like to shoot the breeze, get down to business or fall somewhere in between. It may sound simple, but I have found that it’s a skill not everyone possesses. And for those who do, it’s invaluable.

Everyone has a unique story to tell – discovering the best way to tell it is my job.
