I didn’t write that, Ernest Hemmingway did. These are great words of wisdom from a former journalist and a man who believed in the art of simplicity in writing. His philosophy is one that I respect and have adopted in my life and writing. My specialty is taking complex, technical information and turning it into something that is readable and easily communicated to the masses – a handy talent when working with business-to-business clients.

As a child, I think I nearly drove my mother crazy with questions. The need to know who, what, when, where and why was something that was innate in me and I have never let it go – no matter how much I annoyed my mother! It didn’t just stop with the questions though – I would turn just about anything into a story. As the youngest of seven children with plenty of places to hide around the house, I never went without material – though often at the expense of my siblings. Even today, I promise to leave no stone unturned when getting the story for my clients.
