AKHIA is looking for a social media intern AKHIA Public Relations & Marketing Communications is looking for a social media intern. The ideal candidate must have a passion for social media, strong written communication skills and must be actively involved in social media as an individual. Internship will be 15 - 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
• Daily monitoring of all the social media outlets related to the agency
• Support the @AKHIA twitter handle by being the ears of the agency as
well as assisting with industry related content development
• Develop and maintain the AKHIA intern twitter account
• Assist in uploading material to the agency's youtube page
• Write and publish the AKHIA intern blog several times a week
• Assist in maintaining the agency's facebook page
• Engage conversation on the agency's social media pages
• Promote agency events through all social media outlets
• Help with social media strategy and execution for clients
• Upload agency photos to flickr
• Assist with general office duties as needed
Qualifications:
• Must have existing personal twitter account that is updated regularly
• Experience with all forms of social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,
YouTube, Blogs, Flickr, etc.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet deadlines
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field
• Strong attention to detail
• Senior in college
