Do you remember that Tootsie Pop commercial? The one that asked ‘how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?’ I loved that commercial as a kid. Ok, I still do because I find myself saying ‘ah-one!…ah-too-hoo!…ah-three’ a couple times a week. But it’s a valid question, right? Especially if you’re trying to get to that Tootsie Roll center.

This commercial popped into my head when I read an article on how long you need to view a web ad before it matters. In other words, how many seconds does it take to get to the center of your brain?
