Account Manager
Fully Remote Position
The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the agency’s Client Experience team leading, managing and executing integrated communications programs for a diverse range of clients, ensuring client objectives are met with excellence and efficiency. The Account Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients, balancing the ability to offer strategic counsel, build strong relationships, effectively manage programs against identified KPIs and ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.
Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
- Manage a variety of projects for multiple accounts requiring strong collaboration skills across Client Experience and Channel Experience teams to ensure quality of the output and optimize efficiency.
- Proactively generate ideas for account growth by understanding client needs and factors impacting their business such as industry dynamics, the competitive landscape and target audience behaviors.
- Provide effective solutions for clients, often with little guidance from senior managers.
- Build indestructible relationships with day-to-day client contact(s) through regular status meetings, project milestone check-ins and opportunities to connect one-on-one beyond the work.
- Measure effectiveness of implemented programs and make recommendations to adjust strategy and approach as needed; oversee metric reports for programs and campaigns.
- Manage account financial health including forecasting, projections, estimating and project invoicing for assigned clients.
- Drive creation of strategic briefs and tasks for campaigns, programs and brand/creative strategy.
- Serve as a primary point of review for quality, accuracy, style and brand consistency of the work.
- Monitor client industry news and trends in marketing communications to uncover insights to help shape recommendations and add value to assigned clients.
Professional Requirements:
- 5-8 years of marketing, advertising or project management experience, agency experience preferred.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- Possess a client-first attitude, strong work ethic and demonstrate strong account management skills.
- Highly organized and detailed, with the desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage numerous tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, internally and externally.

- Strong relationship development skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities

- Self-motivated, highly organized, and incredibly dependable
- Comfortable presenting work and ideas
Physical Requirements:
- Consistently requires sitting for a majority of the day to complete essential job duties on the computer and telephone
- Consistently requires auditory abilities to efficiently listen and effectively communicate with clients, vendors and staff to carry out essential job duties
- Occasionally requires standing to scan, print and copy job related documents to carry out job duties
- Occasional overnight travel by land and/or air may be necessary
