Senior Account Director
Primarily Remote Position

As a Senior Account Director, you will work with an impressive list of B2B and B2C brands, provide leadership to junior team members, drive account growth and development and set communications strategies for our clients.
This is primarily a remote position, however some local client meetings will be required. We are looking for candidates within a four to five-hour drivable radius of the Cleveland area.
Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
For our clients, you will:
- Be a strategic partner, helping them achieve their business goals with creative and effective solutions.
- Have a willingness to think beyond traditional marcomm programs to make a true impact on businesses.
- Lead strategy sessions, develop plans and help oversee the day-to-day account activities for multiple accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify and address client business needs.
- Work with teams to measure the success of programs and adjust strategy.
- Assist teams with day-to-day program and project management across assigned accounts as needed.
For our team, you will:
- Serve as information leader, demonstrating knowledge of industry, cultural or media-driven issues or trends that directly and indirectly affect the client, including articles of interest to account teams and client as needed.
- Help to identify agency resource/staffing needs for our growing business.
- Oversee annual client budgets, monthly billings and account forecasting and recaps to meet or exceed target revenue goals.
- Identify and engage in continuous process improvement opportunities for clients and the agency.
- Optimize team performance and utilization while leading, managing and motivating team members.
Professional Requirements:
- At least 12 years of communications, public relations and project management experience, preferably five of which were spent in an integrated agency.
- An expert-level understanding of PR and media relations strategies.
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
- A working knowledge of an integrated approach to PR, marcomm, channel marketing, event marketing, social media, branding and messaging strategies.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
- Consistently requires sitting for a majority of the day to complete essential job duties on the computer and telephone
- Consistently requires auditory abilities to efficiently listen and effectively communicate with clients, vendors and staff to carry out essential job duties
- Occasionally requires standing to scan, print and copy job-related documents to carry out job duties
