Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Fully Remote Position

Akhia is currently seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager leads the digital and channel discipline, including direct report(s) and partners. As a manager within the agency’s Channel Experience team, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with content, creative and Client Experience counterparts to build unified, engaging and effective omni-channel experiences for target audiences.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

Agency Growth

  • Leading and bolstering agency omnichannel capabilities with an emphasis on social media, email marketing and reporting and analytics.
  • Assisting leadership in building team and partner network, identifying technologies/tools, growing and enhancing agency capabilities and ensuring effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
  • Identifying and maintaining relationships with agency development partners.
  • Enhancing agency processes for digital channel efforts to build efficiencies and ensure quality.
  • Staying ahead of trends and educating team, department, agency, industry and clients.
  • Building and/or consulting on estimates and statements of work to ensure agency profitability.
  • Recommending tools, programs, learning opportunities and certificates for continued professional development of team members.

Client Growth

  • Participating in and/or leading client discovery, client strategy and new business meetings.
  • Setting strategic direction for agency and client campaigns across paid and owned channels.
  • Establishing benchmarks for campaign and program performance metrics, guiding development of KPIs and overseeing reporting.
  • Guiding and/or implementing campaigns on Google platforms, social media and marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot and Marketo.
  • Reviewing content and creative deliverables to ensure campaign success across channels.
  • Maintaining client relationships with key senior-level client contacts and providing strategic client counsel to help advance client business and communications goals.

Team Growth

  • Leading, mentoring and inspiring the team to grow as professionals.
  • Managing team workloads and utilization to meet agency operational and profitability goals.
  • Being an ambassador for the department and Akhia in client meetings and presentations for both new and current business.

Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital, UX, public relations, marketing, communications or related field
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, agency experience a plus
  • Google, HubSpot and relevant certifications preferred
  • Strong experience in social media platforms, including organic and paid
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud and SalesForce are a plus
  • Experience working as a leader/manager in a fast-paced environment, with strong skills in multitasking and prioritization
  • High-energy, solutions-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong relationship development skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and incredibly dependable
  • Comfortable presenting work and ideas

Physical Requirements:

  • Consistently requires sitting for a majority of the day to complete essential job duties on the computer and telephone
  • Consistently requires auditory abilities to efficiently listen and effectively communicate with clients, vendors and staff to carry out essential job duties
  • Occasionally requires standing to scan, print and copy job related documents to carry out job duties
  • Occasional overnight travel by land and/or air may be necessary
